The following General Conditions of Participation are an integral part of the execution of the organized trip, as well as information and any other recommendations given to you, before signing up for one of our organized trips. Participation in any of our organized trips presupposes the careful study of the program of the specific trip and means the unreserved acceptance by the traveler/excursioner of these General Conditions of Participation. 1. REGISTRATION – SEAT RESERVATIONS
Any person over the age of 17 is entitled to register for one of our organized trips. If he has not reached the age of 18 then he must have obtained prior consent from both guardians or those exercising parental responsibility. In the event that he is asked, he must present the relevant consent in writing, with the original signature of the parent/guardian (KEP/Police) considered to be the original. Registration can be done either by visiting our company offices or by mail (postal or electronic), or by fax or through our website at www.parosallinn.gr. It is expressly clarified that in order to reserve a place on each group trip, it is a necessary condition to have paid the amount of the advance payment or the entire amount of the value of the trip in question, depending on the package, the unconditional acceptance of these conditions as well as the receipt relevant confirmation message from our office. The corresponding proof of payment must include the distinctive details of the trip in question (indicative and not limiting: place of destination, dates of departure and return, etc.). Entries are accepted before the scheduled departure of the trip, depending on the trip. It is expressly clarified that non-payment of the total value of the respective trip fourteen (14) full days before the scheduled departure entitles the travel agency to cancel the participation. In this case, the deposit is non-refundable.
2. TRAVEL TERMS - TRAVEL PRICES - CHARGES - etc.
The value - price of each trip is indicated in our current price list. It is clarified that the current prices may change due to changes in the cost of fares, fuel costs, any kind of tax/fee, airport taxes, etc. It goes without saying that our office bears no responsibility for any adjustments that will occur in accordance with the above. The traveler's refusal to pay the additional amount that will result from the above adjustments and will be communicated to him implies the cancellation of his participation in the trip. In this case, the traveler will not be refunded any amount he has paid until then. It is expressly clarified that our office reserves the right - for a specific period of time or a specific number of seats - to sell seats at more favorable prices and with special cancellation conditions. Any availability of seats at a price lower than the original one does not give the right to the other travelers to demand a corresponding discount or to cancel their participation. It is also expressly stated that children's fees vary on a case-by-case basis from an offer of free accommodation in hotels and ships to a small discount (for ages 2-12 usually and provided that two adults are accompanied and paying)
3. OBLIGATIONS – RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TOURIST ORGANIZATION
Our office has full responsibility for the correct execution of the package as a whole. For the purpose of providing its services more fully, it reserves the right to change or modify the predetermined program of the excursion, when deemed necessary, without prior notification. It is expressly clarified that the office does not have its own means of transport (indicative: planes, buses, ships, etc.) nor accommodation (indicative: rooms, hotels, etc.) so it is not responsible for their correct or non-functioning. Likewise, it is not responsible for the actions and/or omissions of third parties and their partners as well as for extraordinary situations, such as cancellations, strikes, changes or cancellations of transport routes, and in general for any situation of force majeure or unlucky event. (indicative and not restrictive means as such: accidents, epidemics, acts of terrorism, bank holidays, etc.).
4. OBLIGATIONS – RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRAVELERS
Each traveler is obliged to fully comply with the conditions of each program, the instructions of the escorts and guides. In addition, each traveler is responsible for the correct provision and/or completion of their personal information, where required. In case of an incorrect declaration and/or completion which will result in the traveler not being able to travel or being charged an additional amount by the airline or another company, then no responsibility is borne by the office. He is solely responsible for his timely arrival at the collection and/or departure points. Any delay on his part that entails the loss of provision of the program does not entitle him to a refund of part or all of his money. He himself, at his own risk and expense, must find a way to connect with the rest of the group. In addition, it is expressly clarified that in case the traveler shows a lack of consistency and/or violates the above, then the office reserves the right to cancel his participation. In this case, the traveler is not entitled to request a refund of the money he has paid up to that point.
5. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS, VISAS AND HEALTH FORMS
All foreign travelers - depending on their destination - are required to have a valid passport or a new type (with Latin characters) of a police ID. Our office provides travelers-Greek citizens with all possible information about the necessary travel documents they are required to have. However, it is expressly clarified that each traveler is solely competent and responsible to know which are the necessary travel documents (identity card, passport, visa, etc.) of the country of which he is a citizen and which are required for crossing borders or when checking airports, ports, etc. He is also responsible to have them in his possession throughout the trip and to show them whenever requested to the competent authorities. It goes without saying that in the event that due to the fault of the traveler (lack of or damage to the travel document or expiration of its validity or non-issuance of a visa) it is not possible to cross the border or due to control by the competent authorities, then the traveler waives the right to continue the excursion . Our office bears no responsibility and the traveler is entitled to no refund or other compensation.
6. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations of participation by the traveler can only be made in writing to our office and regardless of the date of the reservation, they are subject to the following cancellation fees per person, depending on the time at which the cancellation is made and regardless of whether they have already whether the respective amounts are paid by the travelers or not. For cancellation up to 20 days before the traveler is charged 50 euros, for cancellation up to 10 days before he is charged 150 euros, while for cancellations 10 days or less before the trip the charge is 100%.
7. INSURANCE
Our office has concluded a Professional Civil Liability insurance policy with an insurance company for each excursion it organizes. The number of the insurance policy and the details of the insurance company are indicated in the package travel contract.
8. LUGGAGE
The traveler is obliged to comply with the instructions of the transport companies regarding the weight, dimensions and number of luggage allowed per traveller. Any non-compliance shall be borne by him with any additional charges that may arise. Luggage is transported under the responsibility and care of its owners, whether or not they are accompanied by representatives of our office. In case of damage or loss, the corresponding conditions-regulations apply for each means of transport and for hotels. It is expressly stated that our office bears no responsibility for any damage and/or loss of luggage or its contents.
9. SANITARY FORMULATIONS
The traveler is obliged to be informed in time by any suitable means about the health regulations of each country as well as the vaccines and/or medicines that he may have to procure. Travelers with health problems should obtain their doctor's consent to travel by presenting the relevant medical certificate or a responsible declaration that they can travel without endangering the health or life of themselves or others. Our office is not responsible for illness, injury, loss of life, accident or other health emergency during the trip. In addition, it is expressly clarified that our office has no obligation to cover the related expenses and change of the travel program, which will continue smoothly.
10. PERSONAL DATA
The traveler accepts that the agency will use his details (keeping them in a database, in accordance with existing and applicable legislation on personal data, as amended and in force - indicative and not restrictive provisions of Law 4624/2019 "On the protection of individuals from the processing of personal data" and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679), to inform about its products and services, as well as to inform by phone or via text messages (sms) or via e-mail (email) about new products and services. In the event that the traveler wishes in the future the confirmation or modification regarding the promotion of his information from the database of the office, as well as in the event that he wishes to withdraw his present consent, he may at any time and without any charge, inform the office at the email address info AT parosallinn.gr. In addition, the traveler in the event that he wishes to exercise his legal rights in accordance with current and applicable legislation, i.e. - as indicative and not limited to the right of access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, opposition - may at any time and without no charge, to inform the office at the email address info AT parosallinn.gr.
